Goal(s)

The scientific and technologic field related to functional polymers is very
broad. Therefore a selection of applications allowing the multifunctional
aspects i.e. chemical, physicochemical, mechanical to be emphasized has been
done. In addition the scientific domains have been selected in view of their
societal and industrial impacts. They are related to renewable energy sources
i.e. advanced batteries and Fuel Cells and to environmental aspects dealing
with water purification through membrane separation processes.
