Goals

To supply the knowledge needed to design analogue and mixed integrated circuits and systems in CMOS processes using an industrial CAO framework

Content

Each project will be managed by two students

  • 5 project will be based on the realization of DAC and ADC converters
  • One project is based on the realization of a reconfigurable Gm-C filter
    The preriquities for all the projects are the cours on the Conversion Systems and the cours on Analog circuits design.

All the projects will include two parts :

-The study of the system with regard to the specifications and working out the performances of each of the blocks.

- The Design of the blocks and realization (layout) of the IC including the whole system. The CAO frame-work is Cadence and the process used is a CMOS 0,35µmfrom AMS.



Prerequisites

The preriquities for all the projects are the cours on the Conversion Systems and the cours on Analog circuits design.

Tests

Continuous assessment, written report and defence
