Goals

This set of lectures is aimed at providing a reminder about the description of the matter structure and the interactions between its constituents. The course will remind the students of the atomic model and will then focuss on the description of the nucleus and its interactions.

This lectures serves as an introduction to the "Interaction particle-matter" (IRM) course. It is a pre-requisite for students without any knowledge on subatomic physics nor special relativity.
