To know and to be able to use the most common tools and methods for quality and reliability of devices and subsystems.

Content(s)

After an introduction about basic statistical and probability knwoledge, the following points are presented:
• Product Life cycle and importance of reliability and quality in the industrial context;
• FMEA method
• Inspection via sampling process
• SPC method
• Reliability (test results analysis, Weibull's distribution, accelerated tests)
• Introduction to system reliability



Prerequisites

Basic knowledge about stistics and probabilities (binomial and gaussian distribution)

Type of assessment: Writte exam
Duration: 2 hours
Conditions: 1 sheet of A4 paper, handwritten on both sides (no photocopies).
All other documents are forbidden
