Julia, a student from Poland, chose Phelma and the research Master’s in Materials for Nuclear Engineerin (MaNuEn), which is taught in English.

What university are you from?
I come from Gdansk University of Technology in Poland.

Is this the first time you have stayed in France? It's my second time in France. I had already spent a year at Phelma as part of the ERASMUS exchange programme.

Why study in France?
It is always good to go and study overseas to broaden your horizons. I chose France for the language and culture.

Do you have a scholarship?
I have a scholarship from the French government.

Why did you choose the Manuen master's?

Because I am interested in nuclear energy.

Are you satisfied with the course you are taking?

I am very satisfied with the Manuen course and the work placement that I am on at the moment.  One of the advantages of Manuen is that we have a lot of lectures with industrialists from CEA and EDF, which helps us to know what we can do once our studies are over and choose good work placements.
