Goal(s)

The course's objective is to accompany the students during their physics lab practicals, explaining the functioning of certain « black boxes » and presenting some of the different instruments present in the laboratories.

This is not a course on instrumentation: The aim is to present the fundamental physical concepts used to measure certain physical properties, e.g.: Superconductivity, NMR, semiconductors, fluids under low pressure, plasma, superfluid Helium, rest mass of neutrinos, ...
