Goals

Learn modelling of physical phenomenon.

Increase one's knowledge of numerical method to compute partial derivative equations and ordinary derivative equations. Use industrial software for scientific computation.

Content

  • Different modelling projects are proposed to the students :
    • DNA biochip
    • MEMS contactor
    • Halbach cylinder
    • Deep brain stimulation
    • Magnto-hydrodynamic and moving fluids


Prerequisites

4 hours session. The students use and modify Pedagogic Matlab programs and industrial software for scientific computation. The student work by group of 2 to 3 students

Tests

The exam is given in english only 

Study report and oral presentation
