Goal(s)

Enable students to explore the challenges of CSR and PSR
At the end of the module, students will be able to:
• Understand the challenges of Corporate Social Responsibility
• Understand the regulatory framework and reference frameworks
• Become aware of implementation
• Develop a learning experience based on an initial knowledge base

Content(s)

Phase 1: Definitions

• Presentation of the concept of Sustainable Development: definitions, origins, and limitations. From sustainable development to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR): emergence, trends, changes, and perspectives.
• Fundamental frameworks
• Consequences for businesses; the regulatory context; societal expectations; cultural specificities; mapping of stakeholders.
  Phase 2: Implementation
• Integration of CSR into the company's management system
• Differences and complementarities with other management systems: quality, environmental, occupational health and safety management systems, etc.
• Consequences of CSR on corporate governance: a necessary reassessment.
• Difficulties related to resistance to change
• The key role of stakeholders: mapping and prioritization.
• Implementation of CSR in the company's various functions. * The obstacles and drivers related to the approach (internal and external).
• Analyze the CSR approaches of different companies in different sectors.
  Phase 3: PSR
  PSR: General Framework and Definitions

• General Context

• Situations: Stress, Internal Violence, External Violence, Different Forms of Harassment

• Causes and Triggers

• Consequences for the Individual

• Symptoms and Pathologies of Stress

• Effects of PSR on the Company

Specificity of Stress at Work

• Legal Context, Employer Responsibility

• Diagnosis

• Indicators

• Implementation of a PSR Prevention Approach within the Company

Specific aspects of harassment (moral, sexual)

• links between work organization and psychosocial risks

• situations that managers may face within their department

• supporting an employee facing distress

• how managers can contribute to the well-being of their employees.
