Monitoring / control processes PC and hardware interfaces / software acquisition and data processing.

Content(s)

  • Knowledge of PC standard interfacing and its opportunities with physical methods for measurement and control.
  • The acquisitions cards: structure, operation and implementation (Using the Labview software).
  • Several examples of experimental manipulations are studied in order to characterize:
    -The Data transmission: standard instrumentation and trends. Application to the RS232 serial link: piloting of a measuring instrument (oscilloscope).
    - Software management tools via Labview NI
    - The acquisition and generation of digital signals (managing a digital code)
    - The acquisition and generation of analog signals (servo DC motor)
