Innovative teaching facilities

In addition to high-quality teaching, ENSERG students have access to high-level facilities and state-of-the-art IT department: CIME-Nanotech, LESTI, MISTI...

CIME - nanotech: Interuniversity Microelectronics Centre étudiants en salle blanche - tp CIME CIME - nanotech is one of the largest microelectronics teaching centres, and represents a € 7 million investment. This facility is used to teach complex integrated circuit and Microsystem design, implementation, testing and usage. LESTI and MISTI These two laboratories have been fitted out with several million euros worth of material in order to provide teaching in the latest telecommunications and information processing techniques.

  • MISTI : Micro-Computing and Information Processing Laboratory

IT department

  • 224 workstations (PC & Linux), including 80 self-service workstations and 144 in specialised rooms (in laboratories, for practical and project work and in multimedia language-teaching rooms)
  • WiFi network: 10 base stations for complete coverage. Students are loaned WiFi network cards throughout their course
  • Supervised study room with 34 workstations (donated by INTEL)

Language laboratory

  • Language acquisition software for all levels available for students or on loan from the library
  • A fully-equipped room for preparing for language exams (e.g. TOEFL, TOEIC, ...)
  • PAM (Plan d'Achat Micro): a scheme for computer group-buying across the Grenoble universities, giving students cheaper access to personal computer equipment.
Multimedia library Computers are available for web and catalogue searches.
