Goal(s)
Introduction on Design of VLSI digital circuits in CMOS technology. During this lecture we will introduce all steps of the design flow: We will start from the very beginning step: creating a logic gate all the way up to implementing a complete digital integrated system.

The course covers several fundamental aspects of digital circuit design: study of the synchronous circuit model and its differences from the combinational mode. Design with CMOS technology: students learn from the study of transistors and discover how these transistors are combined to create efficient logic gates (in terms of space and energy), which form the basis of most modern digital circuits.
