  • Galilean Transformation : Principle of Galilean Relativity, Electrodynamics and Galilean Relativity.
    - Lorentz Transformations : Postulates of relativity, Lorentz Contraction, Time dilation, proper time, Transformation of Particle velocities
    - Relativistic Mechanics : Momentum and Energy, Doppler shift, Scattering Kinematics.
    - Motion of a Particle in a field.
    - Lorentz transformation in 4-dim space-time, Light Cone formalisme.
    - Lorentz Boost Transformation, vectors, tensors.
    - Four-velocity, Minkowski force.
    - Covariant form of electrodynamics : Electromagnetic Field Tensor, Lorentz transformation of E and B, em field of a moving charge, Covariant form of Maxwell’s equations.
    - Relativistic equation of motion for Spin.
    - Introduction to space-time groups and their representation.
    - Introduction to Riemannien Geometry and curved Space time.
