Practicals of the course « Characterization of materials »

Students choose one experience among five proposed experiments.
Practicals take place in laboratory on research experiments.
Thematics are :

  • scanning electron microscopy / X-ray microanalysis in LMGP
  • transmission electron microscopy in LMGP
  • Raman spectroscopy in LMGP
  • photoelectron spectroscopy in CEA-LETI
  • X-ray absorption spectroscopy in synchrotron ESRF.


Prerequisites

Characterization of materials and 1A introduction to materials

Test

Continuous assessment (Written report partly during the session and partly afterwards on the results collected.
