Goals

Practicing the various items learnt during the lectures of UE Physics and Circuits:
•Guided Waves,
•Microwave and Optoelectronic Passive Circuits,
•Microwave and Optoelectronic Active Circuits.

Content

•4 hours: to take in hand the Vector netwodk Analysis (VNA) and the periodically loaded transmission line.
•4 hours: VNA (300 kHz-3 GHz) of passive circuits.
•4 hours: Circuit analysis of a low pass filter based on periodically loaded transmission lines by the means of Advanced Design System by Keysight Technologies.



Prerequisites

Lecture "circuits and systems in higjh frequencies"
Electromagnetism (basics on electromagnetism and guided electromagnetism),
S parameters,
Basics on analogs (amplifying).

Tests

Personal lab work under the supervision of a teacher.
Noted report for the two labs



Manipulations pratiques personnelles sous l'encadrement d'un enseignant, en français.
Comptes-rendus notés.
Note = Moyenne des CR.
