Application of Semester 7 course of Numerical Methods. Students have to apply their knowledge on small projects using MATLAB or COMSOL.

Examples of problems :

  • Neutron diffusion
  • Electron transport in electron tube
  • Monte Carlo neutron transport
  • Natural convection on horizontal/vertical plates
  • Xenon unbalance in reactors


Prerequisites

Numerical Methods basics : ODE, finite differences methods, finite elements methods

Test

  • RI = Intermediate report 20%
  • P = oral presentation 30%
  • RF = Final report 50%


NF = RF + P+ RI
