Goals
To know and to be able to use the most common tools and methods for quality and reliability of devices and subsystems.
Content After an introduction about basic statistical and probability knwoledge, the following points are presented:
• Product Life cycle and importance of reliability and quality in the industrial context;
• FMEA method
• Inspection via sampling process
• SPC method
• Reliability (test results analysis, Weibull's distribution, accelerated tests)
• Introduction to system reliability
PrerequisitesBasic knowledge about stistics and probabilities (binomial and gaussian distribution)
