Goals

Manipulation of various hydraulic and heat transfer concepts found in energetic systems. The students work in a team of two during 8 hours sessions.

Content

  • Hydraulic Labworks:
    * Flowmeters (Venturi, Diaphragm, etc.)
    * Centrifugal pumps
    * Mariotte's bottle
    * Head loss
    * Laminar-Turbulent transition
  • Thermal Labworks: Conduction/Convection (Steady and Time-Dependent)
