Content(s)

PI:
Three practical work experiments run in parallel.
Students have access to them on a rotating basis over three sessions.
The practical work covers the following topics:

  • Transmission line
  • Fiber optics
  • Extensometry

PMP:
Three practical work experiments run in parallel.
Students have access to them on a rotating basis over three sessions.
The practical work sessions cover the following topics:

  • Thermoelectricity
  • X-ray fluorescence and/or powder diagram (X-ray diffraction and crystallography)
  • Transmission line

Prerequisites

Introductory electronics lab (S5)
Basics of scientific instrumentation
Use of standard equipment.

Test

Each practical session is graded based on the report submitted on LabNbook.
The average of all the grades for each practical session will constitute the grade for this subject.
