Goal(s)

The pedagogical objectives of this lecture aim to develop skills to analyze, design, and innovate business models within dynamic environments like sustainability, entrepreneurship, and technological shifts. The objectives are the following:

  • Understanding core business model components (e.g., value proposition, revenue streams, stakeholder networks) and their interrelationships.
  • Developing critical analysis skills to evaluate business model limitations, especially in dynamic or transitional scenarios (e.g., startups, sustainability-driven industries).
  • Fostering innovation capabilities to design and adapt business models for sustainability, digital transformation, or resource-constrained contexts.
  • Applying theoretical tools (e.g., Business Model Canvas, dynamic frameworks) to real-world cases, emphasizing iterative refinement through customer discovery and market validation.
