Goal(s)
This course aims at the understanding of the basic concepts used for sampled systems via the study of digital closed loop systems. We stress the specificities of digital control systems, compared to analog control systems. We discuss the impact of the sampling frequency and the type of hold. We review the different performance criteria. Finally, we present different approaches for the conception of digital controllers.
