Goal(s)
Theoretical and practical electrochemistry: Methods of electrochemical characterisation Chrono amperometry, Chrono potentiometer, voltammetry, electrochemical impedance
Application to the study of a simple mechanism E to a complex mechanism CE, EE
Content(s)
- From the formal description of the stationary state to the non-stationary state:
Simple mechanism E to the general case of complex mechanisms - Operation of a potentiostat/galvanostat (electronic circuit, ADC, ohmic drop correction, rating, compliance, etc)
-Cyclic voltammetry (method, description of results according to process kinetics, determination of kinetic and transport quantities)
-Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (method, representation of results, kinetic and equivalent circuit approach, transport impedance, etc) - Application to examples of complex mechanisms
