Application procedure

 

You are an exchange or double-degree student

You are a non-degree exchange student coming for 1 or 2 semesters

You must:

1 - Read carefully Nomination & application
 
2- Registration procedure after receiving your acceptance letter:

- Complete this form according to this guide.

- Send it back to Léna Caruso - in-coming@phelma.grenoble-inp.fr before November 26th 2024. You will receive your student number short after.

- Prepare the following documents :
    * ID card/ passport : JPEG or PDF
    * ID picture 1.8cmx2.2cm JPEG (to print it on your student card so you must be recognized on the picture)
    * Registration certificate from your home university for year 2024-2025 JPEG or PDF
    * For non-European students: validated French Visa or residence permit JPEG or PDF
    * Photoshoot agreement
    * Orders, charters and rules reading certificate
    * Individuel comitment form

- Once you receive your student number by mail, upload previous documents here


 

3 - Come to Phelma and finalize your registration from January 9th, 2025

4 - Welcome seminars will take place on January 9th 2025. More details will be given by email.

5 - Get the HEALTH INSURANCE & PUBLIC LIABILITY

6 - FLE - FRENCH FOR FOREIGN STUDENTS


3 sessions of French class will be organized all along the year:

- Intensive class for exchange and double degree students from August 26th to August 30th, 2024 : registration now and before July 17th

- Extensive class 1 for all international students : registration from August 28th to September 8th, 2024. The classes will start on September 30th.


- Extensive class 2 for all international students : registration form DATE TO COME.

A - National Health Insurance
Health Insurance is free for all. However, all non European students will have to register online on: Click here - That is mandatory

Only the holders of "Visa Long Séjour (VLS-TS) - étudiant" should register. You can find all the information on this page.

B - Public liability
This insurance is MANDATORY for all students who do an internship in France. It cost of around around 28€ and will have to be taken privately (bank, student insurance company...).
You can take it after your arrival at Phelma, our associated insurance agency will give you all information in Welcome seminar. Your registration form Explanations to complete the registration form

You are a double degree student

You must:

In order to proceed to your registration, you will have to get in order with the CVEC. The CVEC is the annual contribution to the Student's life (library, medicine,...), at a cost of 103€.
This is mandatory for every student in France, either a foreigner or not, who will get a diploma from a French Institution.
To pay this contribution, you will have to connect to CVEC page.
The payment of this contribution has to be done on-line and will be free of bank charges (since it is handled by the French State).
Once the payment completed, you will receive a proof of payment with allocation of a number. You will need this number for your successive enrolment.
 

1 - Registration procedure : You will have the possibility to enrol on line from July, 5th 2024. The procedure will be given to you within a few days. Please check regularly


2 - Come to Phelma and finalize your registration from September 2nd, 2024 - more details will be given by email

3 - Welcome seminars will take place on September 5th, 2024. More details will be given by email.

5 - FLE - FRENCH FOR FOREIGN STUDENTS

You are an international program student

You are an international master student (AMIS, FameAIS, MaNuEn, EMINE)

Non European students


The regulations that induce the payment of differentiated tuition fees by non-EU students come into effect at the beginning of the academic year. The full registration fee due is not necessarily payable at the beginning of the year: a payment schedule may be set up. A waiver application package will be sent to you in October with the terms and conditions. This exemption may be partial or total.

Come to finalize your registration from September 5th.


Once your have your CVEC number and filled in your registration file, you have to send all documents to international-masters@phelma.grenoble-inp.fr before 17th July, 2024

You will be contacted further on to finalize your registration.
 

HEALTH INSURANCE & PUBLIC LIABILITY

FLE - FRENCH FOR FOREIGN STUDENTS


2 sessions of French class will be organized all along the year:

1/ Extensive class 1 for all international students : registration from August 28th to September 8th, 2024

2/ Extensive class 2 for all international students : registration dates to be confirmed

 

REGISTRATION


Once the payment completed, you will receive a proof of payment with a number. You will need to send me this document in order to proceed to your registration to Grenoble INP - Phelma.

To anticipate your final registration and to obtain your access code to wifi quickly after your arrival, we strongly recommend to fill in your registration form as follow:

However, we give you the possibility to take it at the end of the welcome seminar on January 2025 with SMERRA student insurance Company which will be present at the meeting (date to be confirmed).

Further information will be given by mail concerning your final registration and the possibility to anticipate your tuitions Fees.


Different fees for non European students :

 
The Grenoble  INP - UGA applies the regulation which induces the payment of differentiated registration fees by non-EU students.
 
You may be partially or totally exempted from paying fees depending on your status. To find out more, please consult the practical information sheet on extra-community fees.

ATTENTION: You will have a limited period of time to register and to benefit from payment in 3 instalments. Payment in instalments can be made by credit card only. If you do not have a credit card, you will have to pay by bank transfer without the possibility to pay by instalments - See registration fee form above.

IMPORTANT: Without registration you cannot be a student at our school.

International students from outside of Europe need to obtain a visa to enter and study in France.

The length of the procedure varies according to the country and the period of application, but generally takes several weeks. It is therefore necessary to anticipate the procedure.

Before arriving in France, it is highly recommended to have a credit card.
