How to choose courses as an exchange student ?
Phelma hosts international students in the framemork of student’s exchange programs.
International students registered in a partner university can apply to a mobility at Phelma :
- For one semester : Fall semester (August – January) or Spring semester : (January – June)
- For one academic year (August – June)

Phelma offers three years of study divided into six semesters.
Last semester (S10) has no courses but a Master thesis project (Projet de Fin d’Etudes in French) consisting in an internship, internship report and oral assessment.
Only years 2 and 3 are open to exchange students. - Study tracks

According to CEFR
- If you attend classes taught in French: at minima B1 level in French, but B2 level is recommended.
- If you attend classes taught in English : at minima B1 level in English, but B2 level is recommended.
- You will need to provide a test or certificate of language unless you are native in French or English.

1 - Select one of our study tracks (= Filières)
AM / GEN / SEOC / BIOMED / IPHY / SICOM / EPEE / SEI / SIM2 - Select a year :
2nd year : semester 7 (Fall semester) and/or semester 8 (Spring)
3rd year : semester 9 (Fall semester). Semester 10 has no courses but an internship, internship report and oral assessment
Courses must be chosen in one single year and one single study track in order to avoid scheduling conflicts. It is not possible to take courses from two different years or from two different tracks.
For example :
You cannot choose courses from BIOMED and GEN study tracks.
You cannot choose courses from SICOM 2nd year and SICOM 3rd year.

Your course choices have to match with your prerequisites.
At your arrival at Phelma, your referent teacher will validate your programme.
We ask you to register for at least 15 ECTS credits and maximum 30 ECTS credits per semester.
Sports-
You can join a sport, for academic or leisure purposes:
For academic purposes: the sport must be included in your choice of course/study contract. You will receive a grade and a credit (ECTS).
For leisure: the sport will not be included in your choice of course. You will not receive a grade.
