Objectif(s)
Ultrasound imaging is the most commonly used technology to explore the human body. Therapeutic ultrasound is now a FDA approved treatment modality that can change the paradigm of cure for many diseases. The course will provide a thorough understanding of the ultrasound techniques used in medical imaging and therapy and allow discovering the science of ultrasound, wave propagation in biological tissues and understanding its clinical imaging uses. The course will also describe therapeutic applications of ultrasound and how this non-invasive therapeutic technology as the potential to transform the treatment of many medical disorders by using ultrasonic energy to target tissue deep in the body without incisions or radiation. With this biomedical ultrasound imaging course, you’ll explore the main principles behind this fascinating technology.
