Objectif(s)
This project aims at providing the students with some experience of:
- project management in distant teams,
- using collaborative creation tools (in the present case a wiki to setup a rudimentary website),
- writing scientific reports for a general scientific audience.
Contenu(s)
The use of advanced materials for a given functional application is analyzed by small groups of students, spread over Grenoble and Augsburg. Guided by four assignments, the students progressively build a wiki website which presents to a general scientific non-specialized audience the results of their investigation (why, how). The four assignments are progressively made available. At the begining and the end of each assignment, a short skype interview between the tutor and the students is organized. The students are supervised remotely by a teacher belonging to one of the following Universities: Augsburg, Darmstadt, Liège, Louvain, Aveiro, Bordeaux and Grenoble.

L'examen existe uniquement en anglais 
The evaluation is done by the tutor, based on the interviews (In) made during the year, on the quality of the work and of the wiki website (Wiki). The progression of the group over the whole year, rather than its absolute performance, will be taken into account in the evaluation.
In case of failure, an alternative bibliographic project (BP) will be proposed, to be done during summer holidays.
N1= 50% I +50% Wiki
N2 = 100% BP
